Jacqui Jones Prints

Jacqui’s spontaneity and spirited use of colour when painting horses brings her pictures to life.

Having grown up in London where a pony was not possible, she began creating her own, on paper. They caught her imagination and with no formal training, she was drawn to Newmarket the home of horseracing for inspiration. Having worked for a short while at trainer Henry Cecil’s yard, Jacquie decided to pursue her ambition and paint horses professionally.

She has exhibited widely both in the UK and in the United Arab Emirates and has been artist in Residence at The National Horse Racing Museum. Sheikh Mohammed, The Princess Royal and the late Queen Mother are amongst her discerning customers.
